Hi! I'm Jenny! I’m a Boston transplant living in the Greater Dayton area with my little family. After dating for 7+ years, I married my high school sweetheart in 2013. Our lives were changed when we welcomed our child, Amelia, in the spring (more like winter with a record fall of 120”+ of snow that season!) of 2015 in downtown Boston. A skip, a hop and a jump later, we welcomed our second child, Isabelle, in 20160 during a Greater Dayton. We are also pet-parents to three muy guapo furbabies- American DSH, Zorro, English DSH, Otie and chihuahua/pug-mix, Kuro.
I've been semi-sensically writing since the summer of 2002 and publicly writing since the spring of 2012. This blog, (formerly Prim New Englander and presently) Ever So Jenny, was crafted by my effort to stay in touch with loved ones while I went to college in Connecticut. It currently serves as an outlet to organize my thoughts on family and motherhood, as well as interests in entertainment, beauty and more.
Photos are taken by me and sometimes el Hubs or my brother, S. Pictures taken between April 2012 and February 2013 were taken with a Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-WX9. Pictures taken between April 2013 and October 2014 were shot using Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-WX-150 (shout out to Amanda for ruining my beloved WX-9!) and my iPhone 5S, unless otherwise stated. Pictures since October 2014 and present are a mix of iPhone 5S, Sony WX-150, Nikon D7000 with a 35mm AF-S 1.8 lens and Sony A7 with Carl Zeiss 16-35mm f/4.0, Carl Zeiss 55mm f/1.8, Voigtlander 35mm f/1.2 II and Nikon 80-200mm f2.8 lenses. My next point and shoot investment is the Nikon DL 24-85.
The illustrations plastered all over my blog are labors of love by my siblings (particularly my sister, L).
