Recovery: By this point, I feel like I'm 95% recovered. I'm still spotting-ish- I have a bit of a discharge vs blood spotting. My sciatica pain comes only once in a while. My hemorrhoid is basically gone. One constant issue is my contracting uterus- it's a pain in my tush every dang day!
Breastfeeding: Breastfeeding is the same as it was in my four week update. Everything seems to be peachy!
Weight: I'm currently 129 lbs and still swollen. I can't believe I still can't wear my wedding ring! BUT, I am happy to finally be in my 120s- I'm halfway there!
Height/Weight: As of her last appointment, my little girl is 10 lbs 5 oz and 21-3/4 in long! WOW! What a JUMP for 8ish lbs and 21 in!!
Routine: We've definitely established a routine by this point. Little lamb was consistently going three hours between feeds. As such, I decided to tweak her feeding times to whatever suits us for whatever day. Sometimes our day starts at 7, 8 or 9!
Sleeping: Regardless of being put into bed at 10 or 11, Lamby consistently wakes up between 2:30-3:30 for her nightly feed then at 6:30-7:30 for her morning feed. So she gives us anywhere between 4-5 hour stretches of sleep late into the night and 3-4 hour stretches of sleep into the early morning before we all get up for our day between 8-9. In other words, nighttime is a dream! On the other hand, her naps... oh, boy! She still fights her naps and I'm still working on putting her to sleep without "crying it out." Also, she's only wicked between 5-9 once in a while.
Feeding: Mia nurses for 15 minutes or less for every single feed! Her pediatrician has reassured daddy and me that it's 100% ok, that Monster is probably a champ nurser. Ehh. My biggest worry is that she is getting full of foremilk and barely gets any hindmilk... I digress!
Sizes: Lamby is still in 0-3 months! She's also between sizes in diapers- going between N and 1 in Honest Co. (runs small), Babyganics (just right) and Earth's Best (runs large)!
Milestones: This little monster is so friggin' amazing. From a little tadpole that bursted out of me who spent her days sleeping and her nights going crazy, who fought her way to show me she's willing to work with me to nurse, who has impeccable motor and reflexes... to a "chubby" lamb who refuses to nap because she's enamored with God's world, who nurses like a champ so we can spend more time playing, talking, dancing and singing... Every day is exciting with something new to discover.
