From Maine to Connecticut to Massachusetts

Warning: There are lots pictures of me. More selfies were taken in these past two weeks than in the past two years.

Cristhian hasn't had a proper vacation in forever. We were seriously considering going away for the two weeks he decided to take off from work, but went against it. Because we're moving back to the Greater Boston area, and because Cris' sister and children recently moved up from abroad, we wanted to spend as much time with his siblings and their children. Just to recap, we spent Friday and Saturday in Norwich and Sunday and Monday in Boston (as evidenced in the last post).

Om is so dang happy to be a grandmother! Look at how cute she and S are! Melts my heart!

D gave birth to baby S in June. Luckily on Tuesday, Cristhian and I were able to drive up to Portland and gave a proper "Hello!" She was seriously the cutest little thing. ... Plus, I love that she looks so much like D, but might possibly have blue eyes! I know, I know. It's too early to tell. Aunty can hope though, right? I swoon. OH, D took Cristhian and I to DiMillo's- can I say YUM? There's something about freshly caught seafood, amazing company and a great view that can really set the moment. (There are no pictures because we were enjoying our time together!) I can't wait to go back north! Scarborough, here we come!

Selfie at Charlton Rest Area~

On Saturday, Shawn made his way down to Connecticut to maintain Artie-kun. From Enfield, we went up the pike to head back to Lowell. It was so friggin' busy. I couldn't believe how packed the pike and the rest area were!

Much to my dismay, I ended up going to V's wedding. Gosh. This is the first really Asian wedding I've been to in ages. Add the fact that I'm related to at least half of the guests... OH NOES. I felt very... overwhelmed. I love my family, but that's a lot of people and a lot of personalities all at once.

J and M are two girls I played with as a young child in the 'hood.

Regardless, it was great to see everyone and also old faces I haven't seen since I was a wee lass!

It's been a wicked, wicked busy week. Cristhian and I wanted to do as much/little as possible on his last week of vacation. Trust me, it makes total sense! We spent the weekends going from town to town, then spent the middle of the week lounging about at home. Now that Crissy and I are back to work, reality is setting in... Vacation Weight es no bueno!
