Date Night: Nov 2013 - Movies

Crissy and I have date night every Tuesday. More often than not, we're off to the movies to catch something- especially since the weather's gone awry.

I'm totally enamored with Sandra Bullock. Gravity- I couldn't wait for this movie to be over. Mind you, it was really good overall. The graphics and effects were incredible and I held my breath more than I could count! My gripe is that it was painfully slow- SO incredibly slow.

Thor came out the day Beaner and I got married so we HAD to watch it. (I know Chris Hemsworth is way more attractive, but honestly- I like Thor for Tom Hiddleston's character, Loki!)

Our latest and last November date night was the second part of this great series. I read the Hunger Games trilogy in less than one week while my parents- a nice and easy read! The first movie was ok. The second movie? Watch it. Now. And once more.

We actually really wanted to see Bad Grandpa, but watched other movies instead. Haha! S'ok. We'll watch it eventually (whether it's on DVD or in theatres).

Paddington Brown The Movie

I'm not superly, overly, awesomely psyched over many movies. I like 'em, yeah. But I'm never one to anticipate a movie for years and years (with the exception of Harry Potter and Chronicles of Narnia... Damn you childhood book series!).

Paddington Bear is coming to the big screen in 2014? Holy cheese balls! Christopher Christopher Christopher Christopher was a rip off Paddington.

Nemo's sequel, Finding Dory, is also being released in 2016. Jeez. Totally can't wait!

Anticipating any movies?

Tag: Sweater Tag 2013

This tag's been going around like mad. I thought I'd join since I don't have much sufficient content to share.

Questions!

1. Favorite candle scent?

Right now, it's definitely November Rain from Yankee Candle. I don't know anything about it; I don't know if it's a new scent, limited edition or has been out forever. What I do know, what I can tell you is: it's heavenly and the true meaning of bliss in a candle. Way comforting!

2. Coffee, tea, or hot chocolate?
I drink all three, but I really prefer hot chocolate since I go for anything chocolatey.

3. What's the best fall memory you have?
I might be when I was little. I remember jumping into a pile of leaves still cool with dew. For whatever reason, I find that memory comforting without knowing anything else about the day. Haha!

4. Which makeup trend do you prefer: dark lips or winged eyeliner?
Definitely winged eyeliner because I find that it works for any time of the year- not just for the cooler months.

5. Best fragrance for fall?
My favorite fall scent is my favorite nighttime scent- Trésor Midnight Rose by Lancôme. A very, very close second goes to Peony & Blush Suede by Jo Malone.

6. Favorite Thanksgiving food?
Green Bean Casserole has always been a particular favorite of mine. Extra mushrooms and extra onions, please!

7. What is autumn weather like where you live?
Autumn is 60*F to 25*F with sleet, hail, snow, rain, sunshine and hurricanes mixed in. O Glorious Fall. How You Love Us So.

8. Most worn sweater?
Probably my $2ish ivory cable knit Old Navy sweater. One of the best investments I've made in a long time!

9. Must-have nail polish this fall?
Wicked by Essie has really caught my eye this season.. but I have too many nail polishes. I'm trying to stop!

(Source)

10. Football games or jumping in leaf piles?
I don't jump in leaf piles anymore.. Sunday Football it is!

(Source)

11. Skinny jeans or leggings?
Definitely skinnies as I don't like leggings.

(Source)

12. Combat boots or Uggs?
Uggs.. I guess.

13. Is pumpkin spice worth the hype?
Hell yes. Without a doubt, pumpkin spice is worth the hype.

14. Favorite fall TV show?
Elementary and Once Upon A Time really have me on my toes. More so the former than the latter.

15. What song really gets you into the fall spirit?
I sing Christmas carols year round- something I do find annoying until Thanksgiving's passed!

TBT: Ailee Compilations

Warning: Fan Girl Alert.

I'm pretttttty sure everyone knows my obsession with American-born singer, Ailee, who crossed over to Asia in order to pursue her music career. Gosh. Her voice is like that of a real angel. Revel as she covers Beyonce's Halo, Alicia Keys' Girl on Fire & If I Ain't Got You and G-Dragon's Crayon.

(Her Korean's not so good? It's cool. My Cambodian and French aren't so hot either. The point is to keep trying, right?) I could listen to her sing all day. LOVE!
