What Happens For A Wedding

This past weekend, 5th Street Baptist Church & co. and I flew to California in order to attend one of our best friends' wedding. Although Cristhian was too much of a bum and couldn't get the time off (much to my lament!) and therefore deemed me dateless…I had SO much fun during the short weekend. I hope to have many more holidays with loved ones on the wrong side of the country!

Below are just are a few shots of the trip. We did a number of things and when I remembered to take out my camera, I did! Some shots are from my Instagram and others were from a number of friends on Facebook. Please, enjoy!

Aside from the actual wedding itself, one highlight of the trip was seeing Kyrene. I seldom see the little ones over in Cali, but Kyrene is someone I rarely see since she does not live with our family in the Valley. I'm glad Shawn and I were able to spend time with her- even if it was for a few short hours! We made her love us!!

Cheers to many more holidays!

Location, Location, Location!

The first step Cristhian and I need to take is… setting up a location!

I really like the idea of an intimate ceremony before a crackling fire in an ornate, victorian-esque, abandoned mansion (or castle!). Thankfully, New England is no stranger to beautiful mansions and castles. There are a number of beautiful rentals which sprawl throughout this gorgeous area of the country. Below are a list of some contenders!

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! This is one of many areas one would be able to get married!

Who doesn't love an old school city hall wedding?! À la Marilyn Monroe!

We are contemplating between Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. We've lived in Connecticut for nearly the entire span of our 7+ years together and grew to love one another in the Nutmeg state. On the other hand, Massachusetts is our home, it's where we grew to become the person one another fell for, and the one state we continually to fall in love with. And although not listed, New Hampshire is a contender because, well, I'm partial to it. My hometown in Massachusetts straddles the border between both states! Let's see how things pan out!

Which rental space is your favorite?

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their Little Bundle of Joy!

Kate and William, congratulations on your new baby boy! SO excited to see what kind parents you'll be and what kind of ruler this young lad will become!

Poop. I totally thought the Duke and Duchess were having a 7 lb 6 oz little baby girl!

How close were you in guessing the baby's gender and weight?!
