Weight Loss Update

I dropped down to 115 lbs (my high school weight!!) before my vacation out west. Needless to say, while on vacation, I wasn't too strict with myself, indulging here and there. I was too ashamed to weigh myself, but was "happy" to find that I only gained four pounds total!

Many draining things were going on during the end of summer. So much so that I wasn't able to work out or eat as well as I'd liked. I'm happy to say that things will be slowing down in October. I'll be able to working out again! I started the Insanity challenge in August (while I had two free weeks) and was faithfully following the workout regimen. I loved working out and I haven't felt so energized and tired!

Compared to last year, I can say that I eat 100% better. I've upped my fruit and veggie servings and significantly lowered my sugar intake. Although I'm back to my high school weight, I'd like to lose a bit more. Y'know, I'd love to lose the rolls around my belly. So, I bought the Tone It Up Nutrition System. I got it a while ago, but because I've been so busy these past few months, I haven't been able to put it into use! Well, the month's almost over and we're going to kick it into gear!!

I wanted to kick start my diet once again, but felt that there was too much going on for me to fully commit myself. So I'm focusing on eating clean (organic, healthy and as much raw foods as possible!). The month of August is going to be a little crazy for my little family. For example, the first week of August was occupied by my beautiful cousin's lovely wedding. Next week, Amanda and I will be venturing down to the Atlanta-area for 2/3 of the week. And the final week of August will be consumed by Cristhian's surgery! I'm a busy, busy bee!

For now, I can only do the best I can. I'm starting the Insanity Challenge with Amanda and her boyfriend. I'm eating as well as I can, per the TIU diet! By September, I hope to fully commit myself to eating well and working out!

My clothes fit so much better now!
