My Health Journey so far!


This was taken when we first started dating. You can see in our faces that we weren't at all big.

As a kid (playing multiple sports a season like hockey, soccer, etc), I never weighed more than 115 lbs. I ate anything and everything I wanted. I ate full-sized candy bars, quarter of a box of pizzas, ate out almost every night... and never gained much weight.


This was taken at my cousin's wedding. We were at our biggest here!

That was the case until I was 23 when I jumped almost 10 lbs (124 lbs) and never looked worse. Ohhh, the woes of growing older. Around fall of last year, I made a pact with my fiance, Cristhian, and best friend, Amanda, to eat healthier and exercise more. We learned to eat smarter and move MORE. We've incorporated more fruits, veggies and whole grains into our diet. (Though we have our moments where we sneak in sweets...) We've learned about portion control. We go to the gym 4-5x a week to work on our cardio and strength train. Overall, we've gotten SO much better!


This is our most recent picture together taken at our trip to the circus.

After plateauing (120 lbs) for months, I've finally reached 115 lbs again, but I'm so much more toned compared to my high school years! I hope to reach 100-105 lbs!
